University of Sussex – A vision for climate education:

explore climate education with the University of Sussex and OCOW. The event is aimed at school Sustainability Leads and Senior Leaders responsible for curriculum in primary, secondary and special schools in Brighton & Hove. It offers the opportunity to discuss what is needed for climate education in schools, together with sustainability experts from University of Sussex, and to engage with a new education resource developed by the University. The resource consists of ten sustainability topics (e.g. energy, food, biodiversity). Each offers four activities that can be used to enrich teaching across the curriculum to engage students creatively, critically, philosophically and ethically to work towards a more sustainable world.
