Outdoor Learning across the Curriculum

Nature connection and outdoor learning are key elements of Our City Our World.

This day aims to:

• Share simple activities and techniques to enable all teachers to take learning outside in all curriculum areas
• Consider how school grounds can be developed to be inspiring places for learning
• Provide a framework to incorporate outdoor learning in curriculum planning

The morning will be an outdoor exploratory session in the inspiring school grounds at Moulsecoomb primary school’s inspiring grounds.

The afternoon will include an opportunity to learn about the National Education Nature Park and look at resources and planning.

Please bring lunch, water and clothes for all weather.  Please also bring your medium term plans for this term with you and a laptop if you have one.

The school can be reached easily by bus or train.  There is limited parking in the school which can be accessed via Hodshrove Lane.
