In summer 2022, 30 schools from across the city planted a micro, mini or medium meadows in their school grounds, amounting to an additional 1000+ square metres of habitat.  Not only is this a large amount of wildflowers being added to the city, but the location of the schools helped form pollinator corridors from the South Downs into the city and back to the Downs.
