The University of Sussex has curated an exhibition ‘Educated by Nature’ – considering and celebrating what nature might teach us and what actions might follow.

As part of this, Our City Our World has a display showing examples of schools taking action for nature.

The display features photos from Mile Oak, Goldstone, St John the Baptist, Cottesmore, Peter Gladwin, West Hove Infants, Middle Street, Westdene, Moulsecoomb, St Bernadettes, Balfour, Dorothy Stringer and Varndean.  Apologies for not being able to display all the great work going on in our city’s schools.

Please do publicise to your school community, especially the family day on Saturday 22nd July where children and families can learn about composting and explore compost through the use of audio equipment and microscopes.   Find out more by downloading the Educated by Nature leaflet,
