Over 20 teachers from different schools spent a whole day learning about the theory and practice behind effectively integrating outdoor learning into the curriculum. Supported by the Sussex Widllife Trust and Katie, teachers engaged in a range of practical activities reaching across the primary age range. In the afternoon, they considered how to overcome barriers to outdoor learning and spent time improving their planning and curriculum through changing many indoor activities into learning through, about and within the outdoors.
