As part of the School Streets scheme, a piece of road has been turned into a wildlife corner, helping to slow traffic at the same time.  The area now includes a chalk bank which the children planted up with native wildflowers and also a loggery, made from felled ash trees, to provide a deadwood habitat for stagbeetle larvae.
