Save Our Starlings have donated starling boxes to schools across the city as part of their campaign to raise awareness of these special birds. Made by local artist Louise McCurdy, it’s hoped that the boxes will provide nesting spots for the birds and help to increase their numbers.
Brighton & Hove local authority schools can download a starling assembly as well as a mesmerising film of local starlings, ‘Murmurations’ by local artist Steve Geliot in the ‘Presentation‘ section of this website.
Local private schools and schools outside of the city can obtain a copy of this film for a fee by contacting Steve on [email protected]
