Aims of the day;

  • Learners are inspired and motivated by careers opportunities which they may not have otherwise considered, particularly those from groups under-represented in green careers
  • Learners have a deeper level of knowledge and understanding about the role responsibilities, and pathways of careers in areas of interest
  • Learners understand how the local and national labour market is changing and what this might mean for their career choices

Schools are invited to bring a group of up to 15 students, prioritising those with an interest in STEM and from groups which are currently under-represented in green careers (female, Black and Racially Minoritised and low income (FSM)).  The day has been designed for Year 10 students but mixed year groups would also be considered.
